Jason Grable joined Richard, Wayne and Roberts in the Accounting and Finance division in 2020. He has over fifteen years of experience in executive recruiting, specializing in the placement of accounting, finance, tax, and audit professionals from staff-level positions through the C-suite. He is known for his relationship-driven approach, serving as a trusted advisor to candidates and a strategic business partner to his clients. His focus is always on delivering tailored hiring solutions that align with long-term organizational goals. Prior to transitioning into recruiting in 2011, Jason spent nine years in industry roles across operational analysis, audit, and corporate treasury. This firsthand experience gives him a practical understanding of the functions he now recruits for, adding credibility and insight to every search. A native Houstonian, Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Texas State University in San Marcos. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his two high-school-aged sons, who are active in baseball and soccer. Jason can often be found tackling woodworking and home remodeling projects.

Kurt Dawson, CPC

Kurt Dawson joined Richard, Wayne & Roberts in 2000, beginning his recruiting career within the firm’s Information Technology practice before transitioning to the Accounting & Finance group in 2002. Over the past two decades, he has established himself as a trusted advisor in the Houston market, specializing in the placement of high-impact accounting, finance, tax, and audit professionals across some of the region’s most competitive and dynamic industries. As a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), Kurt has cultivated long-standing relationships with both clients and candidates, earning a reputation for integrity, market insight, and consistent results—particularly within the oil and gas sector, where he maintains deep industry expertise. His sustained performance and dedication to excellence have been recognized annually by the Houston Association of Personnel Consultants (HAAPC) since 2005. In 2023, Kurt was promoted to Partner, a reflection of both his production success and leadership within the firm. He now leads and mentors a team of six recruiters, collaborating closely with executive leadership to deliver strategic, consultative talent solutions that drive long-term value for RWR’s clients. Originally from Minnesota, Kurt earned his B.S. in Economics from the University of Minnesota before spending ten years in sales, marketing, and management with an international wholesale firm. This business foundation continues to inform his strategic approach to executive search. He resides in Bellaire with his wife and two teenage children, where he values family time and maintaining strong ties within the community.
