Steve Hadnot

Steven is the Senior Recruiter and co-founder with Truett Allen of the Energy Search Group. Since 2002, he has been a leader in production regarding, both client development and candidate placement. Steven specializes in U.S. and Canadian firms who are concerned with trading, midstream, operations, engineering, risk management, marketing, power generation, project development, engineering, and natural gas. Before joining Richard, Wayne and Roberts, Steven had 15 years of experience as a manager in product manufacturing and development, tolling, commodity trading, and marketing. Steven has been recognized by both the Houston and the former Texas Associations of Personnel Consultants for Technical and Professional Accomplishment. He also spent five years as the leading sports analyst for TSRN Sports Radio Network.

Bob Doyle, CPC

Bob Doyle began his recruiting career in 1984, specializing in the defense, high-technology, and oil and gas industries. He joined Richard, Wayne and Roberts in 1990 as a Recruiting Manager and progressed to becoming a Partner of the firm. He is a Certified Personnel Consultant (CPC), and he manages a large group of recruiters in the upstream, midstream, and downstream engineering fields. He is consistently recognized by the Houston Area Association of Personnel Consultants and the former Texas Association of Personnel Consultants for outstanding achievement.

Susan Benson

For the past 18 years, Susan Benson has been providing engineering, construction and technical professionals to many of the top companies across the United States. Since joining Richard, Wayne and Roberts in 2004, she has been successful at placing professionals with companies engaged in oil and gas, midstream, infrastructure, petrochemicals, manufacturing, and real estate. Susan has fostered relationships with senior management at operating companies as well as specialized engineering, construction firms and service companies.

Truett Allen

Truett Allen joined Richard, Wayne and Roberts in 2000, upon graduation from Texas A&M University. During his tenure with the firm, he has risen through the ranks from Recruiter to Director to Partner to VP, Managing Partner, where he assumed leadership of the firm. Truett has a passion for the recruiting industry, developing recruiters, and has a goal that everyone he meets is better for it. He began his career with Richard, Wayne and Roberts recruiting in the Information Technology group. In 2001, Truett started the Energy Search group, which has cultivated a national reputation for successfully completing difficult searches in the downstream, midstream, retail energy, and energy technology spaces. The Energy Search group specializes in front, middle and back-office positions in the commodity trading and retail energy vertical; marketing, development, engineering, operations; and pipeline and plant management in the midstream vertical; and energy technology. Truett is a highly regarded leader in the recruiting industry and regularly delivers training at industry events. He has been recognized as one of the top ten recruiters in the city by the Houston Association of Personnel Consultants in 2003, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018. He is a member of C-12, the largest national network of Christian executives and PMA, Positive Management Associates. Truett has a wife and two children, is a member of Houston’s First Baptist Church, and an avid outdoorsman.
